Now open, the Capital Region's only world-class facility for competitive and social curling, the National Capital Curling Center. Played on ice but without skates, curling is appropriate for ages 8 to 80 and can be played by singles, couples and families. The Center is operated by the Potomac Curling Club. PRINCE GEORGE'S SPORTS & LEARNING COMPLEX
This sports complex combines learning opportunities with state-of-the-art recreation, athletic training and competition. The complex includes a 75,000 square feet Field House with a 200 meter indoor track and 3,000 seats for spectators. It has a 20,000 square feet Fitness Center; a Learning Center with interactive exhibits and classrooms. It also has a 40,000 Gymnastics Center with seating for 1,000 spectators; Aquatic Center with 50-meter competition pool, leisure pool and seating area; Outdoor Track & Sports Field; Festival Field. Also includes food, beverage and concessions, as well as, retail area and pro shop. A variety of sports, consumer and trade events are held here throughout the year. If you are looking for excitement, you are on the right track! Evening harness racing with 12 exciting races on each card. Clubhouse offers fine dining accommodations. Rosecroft will customize the meeting facilities for any group function, with special group rates available. The track and clubhouse are open year around for live and simulcast racing. Live harness racing is available Thur, Fri and Sat.
